To sap sucking insects diatomite is a potentially  lethal dust with microscopic sharp edges that will cut through the insect’s protective covering, causing them to dry out and die or leave the host plant. When these insects are sprayed with a refined liquid diatomite product Like PN Crop Support as a wet spray or when they crawl across and area that have been sprayed with,  it will have this cutting action.
